Dr. Michelle Sthamann N.D.
Naturopathic Doctor
My childhood exposure to alternative therapies, organic whole foods, and my mother’s holistic approach to veterinary medicine helped me recognize the value of a natural approach to wellness. This inspired my life’s passion to work with people to address their health from a whole body perspective.
Born and raised in Regina, I convocated with my Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Regina, and then graduated from Naturopathic Medicine at CCNM in Toronto four years later. I was grateful for the opportunity to return to Regina and serve those in my hometown. I enjoy spending time at the golf course, skiing, playing basketball, attending yoga and fitness classes, cooking healthy whole food meals for my family, and spending quality time with my dogs.
I maintain a general family practice, but I have a special focus with women’s health, gut health, anti-ageing therapies, and dermatological conditions like acne. After conducting a comprehensive consultation and examining the information provided by conventional medical specialists, I determine the most effective, evidence-based, holistic treatment program. The ultimate goal is to identify and treat all aspects of mental, emotional, and physical health, with the intent to uncover the root cause of the presenting symptoms. I believe the highest quality of life is achievable when we are empowered to gain control over our own health with the guidance of a trusted health advocate.
Beyond using Clinical Nutrition, Botanical Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, and Diet and Lifestyle Counselling, I also provide Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and Facial Massage, BEMER therapy, and am the founder of the Naturopathic Glow Method program for adult women struggling with acne.
